Kids + Sleep: The path to me-time
Nap-time and nighttime in our house equals me-time. Whether I nap myself, or tackle one of the many tasks I hope to accomplish during the day, reliable sleep patters for our kids have kept me sane over the years.
Mom + Friends: The Last Priority
As moms, our own friendships are usually limited to seeing one another at drop off and pick up, after school activities, or a Mommy and Me class. While these friendships are wonderful and valuable, it’s important to make time to socialize intentionally with friends. The conversation you can have in five minutes after school is different than the two hour lunch.
Mom + School Shootings: Fear, blame and responsibility
If you, like me, want to see these school shootings come to an end, then let’s all take some responsibility for our communities and these lonely, hopeless, sad children in our midst. They are the lost, broken kids in our schools.
